The purpose of this thesis is to inquiry the practical knowledge of senior female trainers. It takes the female trainers who have more than ten years work experience as research collaborators.It will turn the practical knowledge behind female trainers'Daily activities to explicit knowledge by revealing the practical knowledge content of female trainers and trace the influence of their life scenes. This will help research collaborators understand their own experience and its significance, and then, help other women and other trainers generate some useful lessons.Teacher's practical knowledge, Gender stereotypes are important perspectives and theoretical foundation of the thesis. Teacher's practical knowledge emphasize practical, situational, comprehensive, tacit, individualistic features of teacher's knowledge, which is very fit for the creative characteristics of teacher's work.. Gender stereotype is a relatively fixed view for men and women should have which psychological characteristics and activities in society. Social Gender theory reveals the hidden economic system and relations of production behind the gender system so that people see inequality from a new angle between the sexes.It will help women to re-recognize the role of self and create a new situation of gender equality.Narrative inquiry is the method that this paper tries to use in the research process.Practical knowledge of the trainers mentioned in this paper derives from their experiences, including the life and career. Narrative, the best way to present experience, is a kind of language full of daily life, coming from the profound understanding for fresh experience, and it is the perfect way to explore the practical knowledge of great trainers.The paper covers 5 chapters.The first chapter generally introduces the background knowledge, including reasons of the research, value and significance, research methods, as well as some related theories.The main part consists of 2nd,3rd and 4th chapters. First, a brief description of the life experiences of three separate subjects:a foreign advanced training manager L, a professional freelance lecturer F and a training manager in a state-owned enterprise.Second, practical knowledge owned by the three subjects in this paper is conducted in-depth a research, relating to qualities of trainers, contents of training, training courses, and methods of teaching in the training,life experiences.Finally, on the basis of respecting facts, digging out the impact of their own important factors in the formation of practical knowledge.
