With the information—age approaching, the application scope of oral language is far beyond that of the written language. Oral language has become the most convenient and most important communication tool. So it sets new goals and requirements to our language curriculum. To implement the curriculum goals, the most important thing is to implement a central link in the teaching-evaluation of classroom teaching and examinations.This paper is based on the oral communication of new curriculum standard, and combined with teaching practice myself. It has carefully examined the present situation and problems in teaching and testing of current middle school oral communication. Deemed that it is imperative to take effective teaching models and establish specific possible evaluation system of oral teaching. Pointed out that the situation should be created in the teaching model to stimulate student interest in dialogue and train students in oral communication ability. And conceived the idea of comprehensive and integrated oral communication test model, devised an open and pluralistic evaluation system of oral communication. In a word, it is the key point to impel the development of oral communication teaching and promote students oral communication ability.
