Intense Popular Interst In Table Tennis In "the Land Of Abundance"

In this paper, taking the status of the masses sports as the research object, the means of literature and data, survey, observation, logic, induction and other research methods are used to describe the status of the masses table-tennis in Changshu and analyse the reasons of the rise of table tennis, in order to provide experiences to guide practical operation for carrying out masses sports in the medium and small cities of developed parts.After research, it is found that Changshu government has focused on the development of the masses physical activities, creating an atmosphere of the masses'table tennis activities. Secongdly, by the change of Modern lifestyle, Changshu people have get more sense of keeping healthy. Thirdly, Changshu economic development provides a solid basis of material security for table tennis activities for the masses. Forthly, Changshu City Sports Council takes table tennis as a key developing project. Besides, Changshu Table Tennis Association has played a positive role in promoting table tennis activity in the development process of the masses table tennis activities. What's more, urban and rural integration provides opportunities of development for the popularity of table tennis activities in Changshu masses. In addition, the forward construction of "ping-pong culture" enhances the comprehensive strength.
