Professional competence of teachers is an urgent issue to study and explore , the study and exploration of the professional capacity of backbone teachers has special significance for professional growth of young children teacher. This study is designed to understand the status quo of professional competence for the backbone teachers in Guangxi Zhuang Autonomous Region trough self-compiled"questionnaire of professional competence of the backbone teachers in Guangxi kindergarten", accordingly, analyzes characteristics of professional capacity for key teachers in Guangxi kindergarten .The study mainly adopts survey method (questionnaire and interview) and observation, introduces the methods of purpose sampling, and conducts a questionnaire survey in a total of 218 kindergarten teachers of district-level model kindergartens in the 15 cities in Guangxi (the backbone teachers, 48 persons; non-core teachers, 170 persons), and makes the observation and record in three key teachers for 15 days. On the basis of survey and analyses, findings are as follows:(一)There are some excellent ingredients in the professional competence of the backbone teachers :1. In terms of professional skills of backbone teachers, there are some strong advantages in the skills of language and painting of key teachers, especially, there is obvious advantage in the painting skills of the backbone teachers.2.From the perspective of excellent teachers'teaching ability, the backbone teachers have stronger pre-designing capacity and teaching activities evaluation capacity ,which can be seen form the design of the curriculum, environment creation, and access to teaching activities resources in the previous stage of backbone teachers'preparation of the teaching activities. The capacity for activities evaluation of backbone teachers is reflected: backbone teachers can grasp the essentials of evaluation more efficiently, and evaluate from the activity objects and the process of activity design. However, there is the weak point in the ability of implementation activities in the teaching process for the backbone teachers.3. Backbone teachers have shown a strong ability to exchange and cooperate with the children and the parents, and performed more harmonious interpersonal cooperation ability. The ability of exchange and cooperation between colleagues in all kindergarten teachers have demonstrated a higher ability. The backbone teachers have the stronger ability of self-development , particularly, the ability of backbone teachers to pursue continuous learning, and use teaching aids and scientific research are more splendid.(二)From the perspective of professional capacity of backbone teachers, the researcher believes that they have shortcomings:1.Capacity of access to educational resources from the network and community for the key teachers is low. 2. The backbone teachers need to improve self-development capcity.3. Backbone teachers are lack for capacity of career-planning and self-reflection. Therefore, the researcher believes that the reason for the shortcomings consists in the influence posed by the characteristics of professional development stage for the key teachers, in which they actively seek ways outward to enhance capacity, ignoring the process of seeking inward ,which is not to change the knowledge from outside into their own, and to dynamically extend their own capacity.(三)Characteristics of professional capacity in key teachers: 1. adeptness of teaching skills in backbone teachers; 2. excellence of teaching ability in backbone teachers; 3. harmony of interpersonal ability in backbone teachers; 4. persistence of self-development in key teachers.This study gets some valuable and instructive study results through the survey of professional competence for backbone teachers in Guangxi, and provides a useful reference to enhance professional competence for the backbone teachers and to further study professional competence of key teachers in the future. Researcher makes reflection from the results of this study and the methods.
