Over the years, the pace of primary school language education reform has not stopped; people have increasing concerns of language education in primary schools, especially the new curriculum reform also contributed to the development of language education in primary schools. But why so far, our primary school language teaching is still with lack, slow, poor, and wasteful; in order to reach the laws of primary school language education, enhance the power, improve efficiency, we can not focus solely on students in curricular reading instruction, but also concerned about the students in extra-curricular reading.In recent years, psychologists such as Harman (1987) from the USA and Shu Hua (1993) from China proved the existence of children concomitant learning and pointed out that a large number of extracurricular readings are very important for children concomitant learning. Library reading is an extracurricular reading activity that taking place in the school library. From the form and the character of extra-curricular reading and the purpose of children's reading, we speculate that extracurricular reading for its own influence and role is a kind of concomitant learning effect. It will have long-term impact of child development. Library reading influences on students of Chinese reading comprehensively.Through a large number of readings, students do not only expand their knowledge, promote the reading comprehension and form reading skills. From another point of view, students in the reading of books can be read with a theme; it also can be in accordance with their own interests and hobbies to choose reading materials, or according to their original levels of the different versions of the same subject choice, so that meets the self-growth psychological needs.Teachers'guiding during library reading may arouse the interests of reading; the effect of the reading atmosphere in library can form the habit of reading books. Students feel happy while reading in the library; it's also good for their growth. So library reading provide the environment of reading, then the designed topic, the reading skills and recommend reading materials. These arouse the interests of reading, enlarge the numbers of reading and develop a reading habit.High-grade primary school students have good basic of literacy, better self-control ability compared with the lower grade, and the length of their attention has also increased. The study of library reading in higher grades in primary schools is easier to sum up experience, to extract the model, easy to promote. But the primary high-grade library Chinese reading is only at the exploratory stage; some teachers have not experienced the promotion of the high-grade library Chinese reading, and do not understand its operational models. So the implementation will give rise to a series of problems. Given the above, it is necessary to card the theory of domestic and abroad library reading, and analysis the campaign strategy of higher grades activities, in order to complete the New Curriculum requirements for extra-curricular reading building models of learning to communicate inside and outside class. Promote comprehensive and harmonious development of students, and the spirit of healthy growth.This article first introduces the background issues, introduced the domestic and aboard status of library reading theoretical studies. Analysis of the meaning of high-grade primary student's library reading and reading-based, Then presented the design and operation of teachers in the operation of the guiding strategy from the high-grade primary student's library reading activities. Finally sum up the effect and reflection. In this paper discusses the strategies of high-grade primary students library reading aimed at summing up experience, building models, enabling to practice the library reading at all grades in primary schools, so that each student creates interest in reading, learns reading skills and develops good reading habit.
