| Since 2001,our country has begun the curriculum reformation of science education for improving the citizen's scientific literacy .The system of chemistry teaching contents has new elements , including history of science , scientific inquiry and STS , which are the carriers of the basic target in science education . The meaning of scientific literacy not only contains personal understanding of conception, principle and theory in science ,but also includes comprehension of the progress of science and the interaction between science and technology ,society and some other background elements .However ,the shortage from educators'view on nature of science progress and value of science ,which is very important for practice, resulted in the target deviation during the process of the curriculum implementation .To change the situation , we have to help students realize what the authentic science is and experience the real progress of science development .It is necessary to look through these new contents with guidance of the theory of modern scientific philosophy .And it will be a magnificent promoting agent ,not only for promoting students'understanding on authentic science ,but also for improving their scientific literacy in the right direction .This study begins from the investigation of how the teachers evaluating and using the contents of history of science , scientific inquiry and STS contents .Because of the shortage and deviation of teachers'viewpoint ,it is essential to make teachers realize the important value of the three contents and learn to choose and present appropriate ones ,which will really improve students'scientific literacy .This paper is mainly divided into four parts.The first chapter illustrates the introduction of the research , simultaneously gives a brief presentation of the background and purpose of the study.The second part is the precondition of the research , it specifically describes the diverse meanings of authentic science and a dimensional view on science.The third one is main body of this research , the writer sets the focus on the discussion of value of the three contents based on the pursuing the target of learning authentic science.Finally , some suggestions about evaluation ,selection and presentation of the three contents in practice are all listed. |
