So rolling skating can increase the students' confidence and help them to develop a good character. Otherwise rolling skating is more interesting and appreciative than other sports. And students are more likely to join it. With the lower demands for place, equipment and investment, roller skating is easy to learn and full of interests and challenges. So it can be simply carried out among people. The sport is being held in every university nowadays. It has special significance in improving the students'social communication and increasing their exercises after class.The thesis uses material method, discussion method, questionnaire method, statistics method and logic analysis method to analyze the current status and significance of roller skating in Independent Colleges in Jilin Province. The thesis wants to discuss whether roller skating is suitable to be held in Independent Colleges and wants to offer some experiences on P.E. teaching revolution in universities.Study shows:the assignment of roller skating teaching is not only to teach students the basic skills, know the special knowledge about roller skating but also improve the students'health, blood vessel function and breath function, promote the metabolism and help the students to develop their strong will, well psychological quality and social quality. According to investigation, the roller skating course in Independent Colleges in Jilin Province has been highly expanded among universities. It becomes an important item in P.E. teaching and exercises and the students pay much more attention to it with high enthusiasm. Since the restriction of its existing, roller skating can not be carried out smoothly. The factors mainly consist of space facilities, teachers'professional skills, cultural atmosphere and whether the relevant departments pay much attention. If all the universities can solve the problems in time, roller skating will have its wide perspective.First of all,we should strengthen the training of our roller skating teachers' professional quality, and improve the emphasis of the leadership on skating. And also we should strengthen the construction and use of facilities while the maintainance of the protective gear should be maintained. what's more, we should pay attention to the rational use of the teaching content and enrich the effectiveness and flexibility of the teaching methods, along with a variety of skating after-school activity and a good learning atmosphere. And we should arrange the number of class reasonably in the venues. Last but not least, we should actively promote the characteristic of the roller skating to encourage the sports development in college students. With the independent college sports effeciently operation, we can adress phenomenons such as the shortage of funds, etc, and ensure the development of the roller skating of the independent college.
