With the rapid development of the information age, many kinds of cartoons and animation cartoons appearing in comic books, merchandise packaging, television programs and movies as media patterns , continued to make an notable impact on people's vision and have become fashionable in today's society as a culture. According to the surveys of media, among the current social life, there are nearly 90% of the number of children who love cartoon works. Their strong interest in cartoons shows that the principal audience for the market and consumer level are children. In today's society, cartoon works is making increasing impact on children directly or indirectly. This phenomenon has aroused great concern of educators at home and abroad and gained in-depth discussion.From the point of view that children have accepted the foreign cartoons, children are thought to enjoy copying these cartoon images and mimic their actions. Due to the limitation of ages and children's necognization, it's difficult for us to filter out the cartoon, pictures and books to fit children's ages. This situation will undoubtedly affect the children's physical and mental health. To solve the issue above, the author has investigated a number of cartoon- classes for children out of school and found copying as a main teaching method can not give full play to children's in the process of their painting. As a result, their cartoons have nothing new. On the long run, the fixed copying mode will gradually lead the psychological weariness of children .Yin Shao Chun, a well-known art educator said: "In the art of teaching, It may be successful that teachers use bossy, method to make children conduct the same style of operation . but it must be a failure in art education on long run." As art education workers, we should foster children cartoon aesthetic, combined with the aesthetic and psychological characteristics of children to explore creative teaching content of the cartoons in time, how to teach children cartoon has become an urgent task. Therefore this article mainly talks about the teaching method of children's cartoons, focuses on the following questions: How to guide children to give full play to the imagination to create your favorite cartoon, and analysis the corresponding teaching strategies. It is mentioned in this article whether children can use a different color techniques to meet the need of the scenes, whether they can draw their favorite characters, animals and scenes, whether they can reflect the different expression and dynamics, and offer the perfect illustrations to the story according to its content. All these are urgently required in children cartoon teaching. They are the latest and most urgent problems that are waiting in the list to be solved.Finally, Aiming at teaching practice the essay tries to explore how to teach children, cartoons in their learning process, and how to affect the aesthetic values of children, and select the cartoons they are watching or have seen. By learning painting techniques, children can master the art skills basicly. They will be able to create their favorite cartoons, when their imagination and creative thinking skills are put into full use. They will also be able to complete a story of creation in common with others. As a result, it can help them to cultivate the awareness children with others by using their own language to write their own stories in painting. By the use of children's favorite cartoon feature, their interest in art can be fosterred. Thus the cartoon teaching truly become an integral part of art class.
