The rapid development of digital information has spread the cartoons to the public in an increasingly innovative way.The cartoons have appealed to numerous students because of its unique charm.But in the meantime,images also pose a great challenge to the words.Influenced by its consequence,Chinese classes have to face the demands of transformation in teaching and reform of teaching methods.After seeing this phenomenon,I try to use another way to explore the relation between poetry cartoons and poetry teaching in primary school.Additionally,it aims to take a rational and objective view of images and words.The text includes the following three chapters.The first chapter introduces the link between poetry cartoons and poetry teaching in a brief way and also the feasibility of this teaching method.The second chapter uses the form of interview and questionnaire investigation to know the status of combing poetry cartoons with poetry teaching.Then it analyzes the potential causes in order to provide basis for further research.The last chapter explores some strategies for the application of cartoons in poetry teaching.Teachers should face up to the feature of poetry cartoons such as vitality,intuition,comprehensiveness and the educational possibility.In a word,teachers are expected to accept them emotionally and take advantage of them in their classes.
