Analysis On Status And Influence Of Aging In Jining City

Population aging means the ratio of the elder gradually increasing in the whole population, as a developing process. This paper in the positive view, studies one of 17 prefecture-level cities in Shandong Province - population aging process of Jining City, with the process of social change, and predicts its trends and analyzes the results to foresee its social influence, and finally proposes countermeasures.Using research methods on the domestic and foreign literatures, it summarizes the situation of aging. This paper draws on existing research results, especially in population projections. It reviewes the demography transition theory and the life cycle theory, and uses demography transition theory to underly causes of Jining City aging due to the progress of productive forces of human society, and uses life cycle theory to explain the influence of aging on the economy and the importance of developing economy .By comparing the Jining City and Shandong Province ,on the process of aging changes, both the process are consistent ,and the aging trend are more and more obvious; but in specific aging indicators and the time into the elder society, Jining City is different from Shandong Province. Analysis is that Jining City, the time of entering the aging society is later than the province; aging level is lower than the same period of the province; but the rate of aging is faster than the province; elderly dependency ratio is lower than the province, although the total dependency ratio is slightly higher than the province, still is in "demographic dividend."Population projections uses software (CPPS) to predict Jining City elderly population trends in the next 20 years, and the results show that the number of elderly population coefficient and a rapid increase in the speed and extent of accelerated aging, presents an elder-aging, sex ratio of the elderly population is higher, young-old ratio,elderly dependency ratio and the total dependency ratio is rapidly increasing, "demographic dividend" advantage gradually is to disappeare, and aging of Jining City is becoming more and more fast.According to the research on population aging development, it analyzes the social influence of aging, including social security system, old problems of different old-age groups, the current family planning policy and the employment of working-age population, and finally corresponds countermeasures and suggestions.The conclusion is that the trend of population aging of Jining City is increasingly more and more evident, we need to change negative opinons and have a correct view to the aging. The government of Jining City needs to fully play its leading role,vigorously develops the economy, actively implements the concept of scientific development, maintain social steady, take active measures to deal with aging .
