Study On The Influence Of Population Aging On Consumption Structure In Anhui Province

Anhui Province,located in the middle of my country,is one of the provinces that entered the aging society earlier in my country.According to the seventh census data,as of the end of 2020,the total population of Anhui Province was 61.027 million,of which 9.159 million were aged 65 and over,accounting for 15.01% of the total population.There is a serious population aging problem.The aging of the population brings different levels of influence to the whole society,which will not only affect the development of the economy,but also have a profound impact on the consumption structure.The status quo of aging in Anhui Province includes the characteristics of a large proportion of the elderly population,rapid development process,large differences in different regions,and aging before getting rich.Because the consumption concept and consumption habits of the elderly population are relatively special and have unique characteristics,the increase of the elderly population will affect the consumption expenditure of residents to a certain extent,resulting in changes in the consumption structure.Therefore,it is necessary to study the influence of the aging of the elderly population in Anhui Province on the consumption structure alone.This paper mainly conducts in-depth research on the impact of population aging on consumption structure in Anhui Province,empirically analyzes the relationship between population aging and consumption structure,and expounds how population aging affects consumption structure.Firstly,it introduces the background and significance,research methods and research contents of studying the impact of population aging on consumption structure,and proposes the research framework and innovation points of the whole thesis.Secondly,explain and define the basic concepts used in this article,and briefly describe the theoretical support for this article’s writing.At the same time,through the reading and sorting of domestic and foreign literature on population aging,the existing research results on aging and consumption structure are summarized.Thirdly,analyze the current situation of population aging and consumption structure in Anhui Province,describe the development of population aging in Anhui Province and the characteristics and laws of Anhui Province’s consumption structure.Fourth,it mainly analyzes the gray correlation degree of population aging and consumption structure in Anhui Province,and analyzes the relationship between population aging and consumption structure.Fifth,use the partial least squares regression method to empirically study the impact of population aging on the consumption structure in Anhui Province,to test the robustness of the regression results,and to compare the regression results with the gray correlation analysis results.Finally,the study found that population aging in Anhui Province has the greatest impact on medical and health care consumption.Based on the empirical results,the article puts forward countermeasures and suggestions to optimize the age structure of the population,actively develop medical care,vigorously develop the "silver market",and improve the social security system.To deal with the problem of aging and optimize the consumption structure of Anhui Province,a feasible path is proposed.
