Research On The Safety Of The Residential Community In Harmonious Society

Communities are living places of urban residents, are also the basic units of municipal operation and management. Thus community safety are not only the part of the public safety in city, and but also the foundation of city economy and social development. Therefore, community safety is directly related to the city stability and the harmonious development. Among various sorts of city communities, the residential community is the most focus. Meanwhile, along with the increased number of the residential community and the enhanced awareness of people's rights protection and public stability, people focus more on community safety rather than the problems of building quality and legal ownership at early stage. Therefore,studying on the safety problems of residential community is important to deepen the theory research of city issues,to coordinate the economic development of urban and rural, to build socialist safety communities, to achieve the great goal of constructing a comparatively well-off society, and to construct socialist harmonious society.All in all, along with the economy and urbanization development, all kinds of emergencies occur gradually, and the uncertain factors increase obviously in society as well. Meanwhile, with the increasing pressure of community, the scale and speed of emergencies and disasters is gradually enlarging, which caused by human factors or non-human factors. The community is the place where various contradictions about social problems and public opinions are being reflected in relatively rural areas. And the community is also the important unit to protect social stability and disaster relief. The community is the basic element of social safety construction, which will undertake the task of reducing the social risk and promoting economic and social development, so enhancing community safety research is the essential focus in the near future. The paper is a research on the safety situation of residential community in Chongqing. According to questionnaire survey, depth interview and field study and based on the three cases investigations in Chongqing, we can get concrete safety situations, make an attempt at providing real problem materials to study such kind of communities, summarizing some general matters and exploring the proper solutions about safety issues of residential community in modern areas. Thus, the significance of this study is that the research findings can play a useful reference for government and the public.
