A Demonstration On Establishing Sports Art Performance Planning Specialty In P.E. Institutes

With the development of higher physical education and the continuous improvement of sports science system, the integration of sports and art has shown a satisfactory development tendency. From 2000 to 2004, Tianjin, Guangzhou, Chengdu P.E. institutes have established the dancing theory. Then, Beijing University of Physical Culture, Wuhan , Shenyang and Xi'an P.E.institutes have also set up sports art performance. In 2005, the Shanghai P.E. institute innovatively established the choreographer specialty. Since 2006, there are several universities have also established sports art performance. This not only combines physical education and art education into a theoretical possibility, but also makes sustainable development become reality . However, with the deepening reform and development of higher education, the establishment of socialist market economy and the coming of knowledge-based economy era, the study on the research and probe of this subject is urgently needed with respect to how to construct the emerging specialty with only ten years of history and how to build up talent training goals, talent training specifications as well as its professional direction which should conform to the needs of the development of higher education, social economy, and students.By means of the research methods of literature, interviews to experts, questionnaires and so on, this paper surveys and analyzes the current state of name setting, training goals, talent training specifications and curriculum setting of sports art performance as the object of study in some P.E. institutes. This thesis integrates discipline theories like higher education, physical education, art, performance, economics, operations research, and planning, and it follows principles which are forward-looking, adaptive, normative, practical, operational and have professional features and service concept. Based on Marxist theory on the all-round development of human being and the developing tendency of higher education, in accordance with the needs of modernization, the world and the future , combined with the requirements of society and marketing research, this paper puts forward the establishment of the direction of sports art performance, speciality talent training and talent training specifications. Moreover, it demonstrates the necessity and feasibility of setting sports art performance planning specialty in P.E. institutes comprehensively and profoundly, aiming at offering new ideas and suggestions for the better development of sports art performance planning specialty in P.E. institutes.
