Sports specialty students are the main source of students for high-level sports teams and colleges of physical education.With the improvement of the school training system and training conditions,and the continuous improvement of the quality of entrance,sports specialty students are more and more favored by schools and parents.The cultivation of sports specialty students has also played a due role in promoting and leading the development of school physical education.This article uses the methods of literature,interview,questionnaire,mathematical statistics and logical analysis to make a comprehensive study of the present situation of the cultivation of sports specialty students in Lanzhou provincial demonstration high schools for the first time.It finds out the advantages and disadvantages in the cultivation,finds out the existing problems and influencing factors,consolidates and innovates the theoretical system of sports specialty students cultivation,and provides reasonable cultivation strategies for schools.To promote the healthy development of sports specialty training in our province.The research concludes that:1.Some schools do not have clear training objectives,nor do they have special projects for the development of schools.2.The imbalance of gender structure,short training years and low special grade of sports specialty students make it unreasonable to reduce the scores of enrollment culture courses for sports specialty students in individual schools.3.Coaches have reasonable educational background structure and positive attitude,but their training is not rigorous,their research enthusiasm is not high,their training opportunities are few,and their salaries are not ideal.Some school sites are still insufficient.4.Some schools can not guarantee the training time,and the training load is low,too little participation in the competition;5.Some of the school sports specialty students' achievements in cultural courses are low.The main influencing factors are weak foundation and inappropriate learning methods.In addition,there is a big gap between schools in the achievement of cultural courses.6.Sports majors are in good condition.Nearly half of the schools are of high quality.Most of them can enter key universities.Recommendation:1.Schools should have clear training objectives and orientations.2.Schools should establish their own characteristic projects and focus on development.3.Schools should,through scientific demonstration,formulate a reasonable range of grading reduction for cultural courses and organize fair and just examination process.4.Schools should provide more training opportunities for coaches,improve their treatment and motivation.5.We should construct the joint training mechanism of primary school,junior high school and senior high school to strive for the early discovery and training of sports talents.Schools should establish a scientific training system to ensure adequate time and scientific and effective training.6.Schools should formulate targeted training strategies for cultural courses,teach students in accordance with their aptitude,step by step improve the level of cultural courses for sports specialty students,and ensure the quality of entrance to school for sports specialty students.7.The school should be led by the principal in charge,set up a special sports specialty training group,find out the existing problems,develop strengths and make up weaknesses,and establish a scientific management system to provide a reliable guarantee for the development of sports specialty students.
