Objective: The purpose of this research was to find out the features and rules of wushu routine athlets' aerobic capacity, through testing on the aerobic capacity of teenage wushu routine athlets in Shanxi Province team and analyzing the experimental results. This research also aimed at providing data reference and theoretical basis to the scientific training of youth team of wushu, as well as laying the fuoundation for the continued studies on features of aerobic capacity in the future. Methods: 30s test of aerobic capacity was performed onto 16 teenage wushu routine athlets in three groups by means of Wingate test. The loading value of each athlets was obtained according the formulae: N(load of aerobic capacity) = body weight×9.8×0.85, then blood samples were taken after 3, 5, and 7 minutes after exercise to make an analysis on the blood lactate (BLA). The data obtained was compared with the mean between groups using Randk sum test, and correlation test was performed unto the results of Wingate and BLA.Results: Teenage wushu routine athlets were grouped according to weight classes in order to make a comparison of data, and the differences between groups were not seen in the absolute value of maximal work, total work, and average work (P>0.05); neither were lapse rate of aerobic work, the absolute value & relative value of 5s total work (P>0.05); neither were parameters of BLA (P>0.05). Comparing with that of 3 and 5 minutes after exercises, the level of BLA measured 7 minutes after excercises was related to most parameters of aerobic work. The coefficients of correlation between 7 minutes after exercises and maximal work, total work, average work, average work/weight,11~15s total work,26~30s total work/weight were 0.614,0.616,0.616,0.616,0.615,0.562,and the statistical differences were significant (P<0.05); the coefficients of correlation between 7 minutes after excercises and maximal work/weight,total work/weight,11~15s total work/weight were 0.699,0.713,0.703, with a significant differences (P<0.01).Conclusions: 1) The aerobic capacity of the teenage whshu routine thletes would not be the key point in affecting the results, yet the movements skills might play an more important role. 2) Comparing with anaerobic exercise dominated by energy, the aerobic capacity of teenage wushu routine athlets is weaker. 3) Data obtained from Wingate test may better reflect the differences in aerobic capacity between athlets applying relative value of body weights. 4) The level of blood lacate measures 7 minutes after exercises may reflect the aerobic capacity level of teenage wushu routine athletes.
