In the organization, due to the scarcity of resources and limitation of management systems,the organizational politics lies everywhere and everytime. Many people regard it as shady side of organizations, which is bad for the organization development, while from another point of view, organizational politics is possible to meet the appropriate and reasonable needs of individuals and organizations, so it is quite important that how to realize and utilize the organizaitonal politics better. The study of organizational politics attracted. widespread attention and great interest, after the conception of organizational political perception put foward by Ferris in 1980s. At present organizational political perception has become a hot topic of academic research, however, domestic research has been relatively less. Therefore, the research aims to study the relationship of the organizational political perception and the organizational commitment of Chinese employees, in order to enrich,the domestic research and provide theoretical support to cope with organizational politics and its impact on employee's motivatior.Study methods include qualitative and quantitative ones, first, this paper had reviewed organizational politics, the conceptualization, the theory, the measure and effect of organizational political perception, as well as the relevant theory of organizational commitment, hereby primarily proposed the research model and hypothesis. The data were collected using questionnaire survey responses from 222 employees from the enterprises in Beijing, Shanghai, Guangzhou, Chongqing and Chengdu. All the data were analyzed and processed with SPSS13.0 statistic software in order to establish and verify the model. The author also had a further discussion on the relationship among different subscales of organizational political perception and organizational commitment.Based on the interview and survey investigation, some conclusions were drawn:the self-serving behavior scales, the pay and promotion scales and employee's relationship scales of organizational political perception(especially the pay and promotion) are negatively related to organizational commitment, and can effectively forecast the latter. Different individual variables had some kind effects on the organizational political perception and organizational commitment. These negative effect to organizational commitment indicate that employees are still regard organizational politics as negative and harmful factor to organization.According to the findings of this study, we established a management model of organizational politial perceptions and organizational commitment, and put forward administrative proposals from three facts, enterprise culture construction, system improvement and publicity guidance. There are a few suggestions: organization need to reduce the adverse effects of organizational political behavior and increased employee organizational commitment through some management tools, such as advocating healthy organizational culture, establishing a sound organizational management structure and system, and building harmonious relationship and guiding rational organizational political perception.
