Latin dances in the last 10 years, before emerging in our country up in a highly popular favorite, and blend sports and arts, fitness and entertainment with the integrated collection of sports items. It is indulgence music, dance, clothing, demeanor, body fitness, temperament and various elements, both cultural and sports feature, which is between the arts and sports between the integrated project. Latin dances in the DanceSport, it passionate dancing, chic agile movements, to fully demonstrate the art of Latin dances style and a strong sports competition features, and is greatly appealing to college students.The teaching effect can be improved by its proper,scientific and its aimed teaching methods and this Sports which combines the physical exercises ,entertainment and appreciative beauty together in order to promote the quality education and carry through the thinking of"health first"among colleges and universities.Sports dance steps relatively later in China.It falls behind in teaching research comparing with other athletic programmers.This can be shown by the face that we don't have a set of Sports dance curriculum system suitable for teaching targets in colleges.There are not directed.In recent two years the concerned researches have studied very hard on this field.But it is far from enough.And further research is needed.This study is the appearance of principles applied to the Latin dances teaching.A large number of studies have shown that the use of the Latin dances teaching principles can effectively improve the appearance of Latin dances teaching effect. It moves technology, an individual's character, dance, artistic accomplishments, as well as the cultivation of learning motivation, and incentives and to overcome the psychological barriers play an important role. For the Latin dances teaching practice is concerned, efficient use of representation theory can improve the quality of teaching and play an active role.Experimental Select Sports Institute, Hunan University of Science and Technology,2008 Professional Latin dances classes and a total of 36 people as the study. Methods the literature study, questionnaire survey method, teaching experiments and mathematical statistical method, software development method and other methods. From the theoretical principles of representation in the Latin dances teaching are set forth, describing the appearance of Latin dance teaching and principles of a combination of the implementation process. Through 32 hours of teaching experiments, the experimental group and control group study and analysis of experimental results, indicating that the use of teaching Latin dances representation principle, can improve the teaching effect shown that teaching delivered at the Latin dances.
