Research On Status Quo And Countermeasures About Ideological And Political Education In Independent Colleges

Independent college is a school of higher education reform and innovation mechanism and mode of important results, is an important part of higher education. As the independent college in the management system, the location of running a school, student sources of the unique, the ideological and political education in independent colleges have their own characteristics. In order to put forwards resolvable and effective measures, this paper, based on the investigations to Oriental Institute of Science and technology in Hunan Agricultural University, Chengnan College of Changsha University of Science and Technology, Beijing School of Hunan Business College and Shuda College of Hunan Normal University, analyzes the specialties, status quo of ideological and political education in independent colleges, meanwhile, discusses current problems and relative countermeasures.The paper divides into four parts. The first and second parts summarize the connotation of the ideological and political education in independent colleges and the significance of the research. Namely, the author mainly illustrates the formation background and the education features, the ideological and political education in independent colleges of research significance, research ideas, research methods, and then provides groundwork for the study of ideological and political education.The third part tells about the status quo of ideological and political education in independent colleges. This part pays much attention on the achievements, existing problems and relative cause analysis of ideological and political education in independent colleges, and thus instruct the basic research for further study.The fourth part raises some suggestions and thinking. In this part, the author proposes some resolvable solutions to the existing problems. The expansion of this part can be generalized from the following six aspects:how to guarantee the first and foremost position of ideological and political education; how to improve the effectiveness of the education; how to enrich the details of the education; creative and interactive ideological and political education; optimize campus practice in ideological and political education.
