A Research On Problems And Countermeasures Of Independent Colleges In The Process Of Transition

Independent Colleges have developed rapidly since the late1990 ' s,which has made a significant contribution to the popularization of Higher Education.But,because they depend on Mother School for a long time to recruitment students,so their students have no obvious advantages in the job market,and Independent Colleges need urgent transition.The timely release of “Decision of the State Council on accelerating the development of modern vocational education” and “Plan of action on the innovation development of Higher Vocational Education” point out a characteristic development road for Independent Colleges,encouraging them to develop undergraduate level of Vocational Education,cultivating applied technology talents on undergraduate level.And along with the advance of science and technology,the development of social economy increases the demand of applied technology talents on undergraduate level sharply.Independent Colleges transit to develop undergraduate level of Vocational Education,will undoubtedly have a broader space for development.At present,the pilot work of Independent Colleges iscarrying out fiercely.Discuss the existing problems in the current transition of Independent Colleges,analyze the reasons,and put forward relevant countermeasures,in order to supply the pilot work of Independent Colleges with guidance in practice.Based on Independent Colleges as the research object,around the theme of the problems in the process of transition,through combing the related literature,the author analyze the necessity and feasibility of transition for Independent Colleges.In the form of interview and questionnaire,finding out Independent Colleges exist some problems in the aspect of external environment,such as relevant investment from nation is limited,the level of cooperation between university and local government is not high,the depth of university-enterprise cooperation is not enough.In the aspect of internal environment,existing the following problems,such as the position of talents training objective is not clear,be short of the double-professional teachers obviously,the effect of curriculum transition is not obvious,major connects with regional industry loosely,the base of practice is not yet perfect.Then dug into the reasons of these problems,put forward to realize transition smoothly,Independent Colleges must increase investment from external environment,strengthen thecooperation with local government,deepen the cooperation with enterprise.Independent Colleges need to set up scientific transiting concept from internal environment,pay attention to teachers' two-way flow,curriculum and major base on local industry,give the priority of practice teaching and the construction of the practicing base,strengthen the supervision and the evaluation of transition effect.
