As the influence of a long time exam-oriented education concept, the opening level of the current ideological and political lesson in senior middle school is still not high, the thinking of the students is not trained enough, and the individual thinking and the self-experience have not gotten sufficient attention.Under the new curriculum, the teaching of the ideological and political lesson in senior middle school emphasizes the exploration of law and regards the cultivation of the students'dialectical thinking and ability as the purposes of teaching. The teachers need to gradually transfer the power of solving problem to the students, which makes the students actively construct their own knowledge, self-link their own knowledge and form their own dialectical thinking ability through the knowledge transfer and internalization of capacity.Constructivism holds that knowledge is the understanding of things which is constructed by the learners in their own way. All kinds of socially mutual activities play a key role in the learners'comprehending of the knowledge, therefore, various scenarios based, interactive teaching model should be constructed. The idea of constructivist education and teaching is very important both in theory and practice for our nation to actively promote quality education, and complete the politics teaching reform in the middle school.The idea of the zone of proximal development proposed by Vygotsky closely links the individual and the society, the teaching and the development, the external and the internal, the present and the future. It highlights the social nature of cognitive development, the diversity of development, the promotion of teaching, the dominant role of teachers, and the importance of cooperative learning. These insights produce a positive and far-reaching influence on the current education, teaching practice and have important practical significance on Chinese current curriculum reform and provide us a lot of reference value from the two theoretical and practical levels. Inspired by this theory, a series of exciting teaching models emerge in teaching activities, such as scaffolding instruction, interactive teaching, cognitive apprenticeship teaching, situation teaching, etc. This paper is inspired by the theory of the constructivist learning and the theory of the zone of proximal development. By combining with ideological and political teaching practice in middle school, we discuss the types and characteristics of scaffolding instruction and how the senior middle school teachers should develop scaffolding teaching, and construct the classroom teaching mode which is fitful for the ideological and political course teaching in the senior middle school. Scaffolding teaching breaks the traditional classroom teaching practices. The students'inquiry learning and collaborative learning act as the main form, supplemented by the teachers'induction, and putting the dominant role of the teachers mainly on the advising for the students'study method. It strengthens the cultivation of ability for the students, puts the students from the"audience stage"to the"performing stage", so that to make the students independently research, actively study, play better principal role and inspire the students'enthusiasm and creativity.This paper is divided into three parts. The first part defines the content of the scaffolding, scaffolding instruction and explains the theory origin and the basic structure of the scaffolding teaching.The second part elaborates the application of scaffolding instruction in the ideological and political lesson in senior middle school, describes the significance, principle and application procedures of scaffolding instruction in the ideological and political lessons in senior middle school. So we can improve the initiative, pertinence and effectiveness of the ideological and political teaching in senior middle school.The third part analyzes the problems to which we should pay attention in the application of scaffolding instruction in the ideological and political lesson in senior middle school in order to pursue maximizing the benefit in the limited classroom teaching.In this paper, by combining the characteristics of the ideological and political lesson in senior middle school and the author's teaching experience, from both the theoretical and practical aspects, we explore the corresponding theory and operating strategies and of applying the scaffolding instruction in senior middle school ideological and political course and build the classroom teaching model in the light of scaffolding instruction of ideological and political course senior middle school to intrigue the teachers to discover more diverse classroom organization really from the students'perspective and strive for providing some guidance and practical reference for the growth of the senior middle school teachers who pursue ideological and political teaching.
