"Scaffolding Instruction" is a kind of teaching mode that pays attention to "teaching" and"learning" and can guide students to actively build knowledge system.Based on the development of core literacy,scaffolding instruction combines itself with the core literacy in high school chemistry teaching.By creating appropriate situations,constructing appropriate scaffoldings,organizing independent inquiry and collaborative learning,and implementing effect evaluation links,students'interest in participating in learning activities is stimulated,and the knowledge system is gradually systemized and integrated with the scaffolding.Therefore,scaffolding instruction based on the development of core literacy has expanded the way of thinking for effectively improving students'chemistry core literacy,improving students' scientific inquiry ability and cultivating team spirit.The research process is divided into the following three parts.The first part proposes a scaffolding teaching model based on the development of core literacy in response to the reform of the new curriculum teaching model and the new curriculum standard's emphasis on cultivating students' core literacy.The literature review is used to understand the research situation of scaffolding teaching model at home and abroad,providing help for determining the research content and forming research ideas.The second part defines the core concepts of core literacy,chemistry core literacy,scaffolding and scaffoolding instruction.This paper summarizes and discusses the Construtivist theory and Vygotsky's"Zone of Proximal Development" theory,which lays a theoretical foundation for the follow-up research.The third part puts forward the implementation principles and key points of scaffolding instruction design based on the development of core literacy.According to the combination of scaffolding teaching mode and core literacy,a flowchart of scaffolding teaching based on the development of core literacy was designed.According to the scaffolding teaching process,two teaching cases of "Disperse System and Its Classification" and"Ferric Salt and Ferrous Salt" were designed and practiced.The practice results show that through each link of scaffolding instruction,students can attach to the situational scaffolding,problem scaffolding,experimental scaffolding,tool scaffolding,chart scaffolding,etc.built by teachers,and in the real teaching situation,they can get divergent and active thinking,think actively about problems,and actively conduct independent exploration and collaborative learning.At the same time,students' participation in each link of scaffolding instruction has been significantly improved,and the traditional classroom is changed from "unwilling to speak,dare not speak"to the phenomenon of willing to discuss and exchange,to share learning results,to promote the common development of students.Scaffolding instruction based on the development of core literacy helps students to gradually complete the construction of knowledge system,which is of great significance for carrying out "literacy-oriented" teaching.
