Transfer of learning refers to the impact of the acquired knowledge, motor skills, emotional attitude on the new learning, simply, it refers to the impact of a kind of learning on another learning. It is very important to use this theory to achieve goal, improving teaching effectiveness. The correct use of transfer of learning theory to guide students to learn in primary schools of language teaching, can improve the efficiency of learning and allow students to learn the methods. Based on this, I attempt to do a more systematic application about the transfer of learning on language teaching in primary school.This topic is divided in to the following five sections expand on the references:Part I :the status of this theory's using, significance, as well as an overview of this theory. For the status of this theory's using, both from the theoretical and practical aspects analysis. The pure theoretical research has been quite extensive, and there have been many research results, but these are no systematic theories using on practice. Is also an overview of the transfer of learning theory, analysis of the five kinds of theories about learning transfer.Part II: the task of primary language teaching and the students of cognitive development. The task of primary are mainly about the sense of language, language skills development and language learning habits. Primary feature of the psychological development of primary school age are mainly about three aspects: the development of its attention, memory and thinking.Part III : the function about using the theory of transfer of learning in primary school. This role is from five areas, including literacy, teaching, reading teaching, writing, teaching, teaching oral communication and language integrated learning.Part IV : the element that can impact the use of transfer of learning in primary school language learning. It is affected by many factors, these factors can be both subjective and objective generalization. Subjective factors include the structural characteristics of primary cognitive and intellectual development features mindset, as well as language learning. Objective factors include the similarity of language learning materials, language learning environment of the similarity of language learning materials, organizational characteristics, as well as the teachers teaching methods.Part V: the application strategy of this theory using in primary school language learning. This reach is mainly based on the study of the PEP primary language textbooks and it can be transfer to five strategies. The first is the knowledge of life to focus on the migration of language knowledge. The second is to help students develop a positive attitude towards language learning. The third is to promote the language among the various components of migration. The fourth is to guide students to the existing language knowledge to move to a new study. The fifth is to enhance language and other disciplines migration.
