| Core self-evaluation is one concept of personality traits proposed by Judge in 1997, which covers self-esteem, sense of efficacy, emotional stability, locus of control four dimensions. Core self-evaluation is "the most benchmark self-assessment hold by people in subconscious" and it is important to individual, so the relative research continues to grow in recent years. Based on literature reviews, open-ended questionnaires and individual interviews, the author worked out a formal questionnaire of core self-evaluation of university students, and conducted the experimental research and intervention research of university students' core self-evaluation. The results are showed as follows:(1) The questionnaire of university students' core self-evaluation contained five multi-dimensions including reference point, self-efficacy, emotional, self-esteem, and self control, containing 21 aitmes.(2) Reliability and validity testing of university students' core self-evaluation has shown that this questionnaire has good internal consistency reliability, content validity, construct validity and reliability, thus it can be used as a appropriate tools for investigation and research of university students' core self-evaluation.(3) University students' core self-evaluation has no significant difference in gender, but significant in specialty, grade, class cadre. Arts students have higher reference point dimension than sciences students, sophomores have higher self-efficacy dimension than freshmen, class leaders has significant core self-evaluation compared with non-class cadres students except the sentiment aspect.(4) University students' core self-evaluation affects student's performance in different situations. Core self-evaluation has main effect in the expected value as well as the accuracy, and has correlation between the expected value and the situation.(5) Group counseling and psychologically healthy curriculum had certain effects on improving university students' core self-evaluation. Group counseling method raised the level of university students' self-respect effectively, and had certain long-term effect. But it needed long-term and system's intervention to obtain a better effect. |
