Chemistry is a natural science based on experiment, which plays an important role in chemistry teaching and can't be replaced in achieving aim of senior chemistry course. After new China was set up, chemistry teaching in middle school experienced 60 years'changes. Experiment and experiment teaching also changed a lot, Based on our current situation of teaching high school chemistry experiment ,so investigating senior chemistry experiment and the change of its teaching idea in every period of the 60 years has an important significance in knowing the development characteristics of middle school chemistry teaching and accumulating the historical experience of chemistry teaching.Based on this aim, the author chooses experiment and the change of its teaching demand in chemistry teaching material of middle school as research topic. And the author tries to investigate some changes and development characteristics form 1950s to now in experiment teaching idea, experiment content, experiment teaching function and teaching practice. This thesis provides a research clue for investigating chemistry teaching development of our country and provides some historical experience for chemistry experiment teaching.This thesis is made up of four parts.The first part includes research background, aim, method and thinking. It mainly talks about experiment choosing and the change of experiment teaching aim and experiment teaching function in different periods.The second part illustrates the development characteristics of middle school chemistry experiment and its teaching aim in our country. First, the author reviews and summarizes middle school chemistry experiment and the change characteristics of teaching demand and tries to find out the rule of middle school chemistry experiment change by analyzing and comparing. Next the author summarizes the development features of different kinds of chemistry experiment according to four basic types of chemistry experiment teaching material. Then the author illustrates the change of experiment demands, experiment contents, presentation ways and teaching patterns by analyzing examples. At last the author gets some enlightenment.The third part puts forward some research suggestions. The author puts forward some suggestions on improving senior chemistry experiment choosing and teaching according to the research results. It is made up of two aspects. The first aspect puts forward some suggestions about middle school chemistry teaching material from amount, type, form and aim. The second aspect puts forward some thinking about middle school chemistry experiment teaching in order to achieve chemistry experiment education aim under new course idea, combing experiment teaching aim, teaching strategy, teaching pattern and teaching method.The fourth part is about research thinking and outlook. This thesis does research on middle school chemistry experiment demand, experiment content choosing, presentation ways and so on, but the theory research is not detailed and satisfactory. And this research is about senior chemistry material, which is not for junior chemistry material. It doesn't refer to chemistry experiment ability assessment system. So I should do research on chemistry experiment ability assessment system in my later teaching work.
