As one of three main functions in history education, the moral education is the key.At the beginning of the 21st century, the world has been facing the serious problem of"moral landslide". Among them, China is unexceptional. Chinese students in senior middle schools are the ones who are going to colleges (universities) or society, and their morality will affect the whole society directly. Thus it's quite important to foster their moral quality.In history teaching,one of the significant tasks is to edify the students'morality, and improve their moral quality to make them develop fully in all aspect. In china, modern time history (1840-1949), which contains abundant materials of moral education, is a history of humiliation as well as struggle. Therefore, it is an important access to solving the problem of moral education to take advantage of this resource.Based on the previous studies, this paper is to study the moral elements in Chinese modern history education by taking the methods of investigating document literature and generalizing the other's experiences, to bring forward to the access, methods and strategies of teaching Chinese modern history and to construct the theoretic framework of permeating moral education in history. The conclusion to be made is that importance methods of fusing morality in history education are reforming the concept of history teaching to highlight its moral function, using many kinds of teaching skills flexibly, and absorbing advanced history teaching experience in developed countries.
