Simulation And Network Administration Techniques Research For Communication Network Of Telemetry And Telecontrol

Space-based communication including TDRSS (Tracking and Data Relay Satellite system) will be promising in the field of communication network for telemetry and telecontrol in our country. So, it is very important to study into some relevant international standards to construct our own communication network. As to getting effective maintenance, management and control of the network, network management is the key element. This paper concerns mainly on the problem mentioned above, and contains basically two parts. The first part begins with a study on relevant suggestions from CCSDS, followed by a demonstrative model concerning the instance of the communication network in our country. On the basis of the outcome of the first part, the network management protocol is studied. By introducing a standard network management protocol, namely SN7MP (Simple Network Management Protocol), to the demonstrative model, the network can be effectively managed and controlled. To sum up, the research in this paper can be a useful reference for constructing our spacedbased communication network, and also for formulating a network management protocol in our country. On the other hand, the design and implement methods used in this paper can be applied to other network management system systems.
