Design And Implementation Of The Snmp Nms

The fast development of the technology of computer communication make the development of network devices such as router and switch be stepped into an unprecedented phase.The network devices must be inevitably configured and supervised via network. Nowadays, SNMP(Simple Network Management Protocol) is the most popular network management protocol.This paper first describes the development position and the users' requirement of the network management,introduces several products on network management.Then we discuss the SNMP network management system in detail,and describe the most detail of design frame,including SNMP Agent and SNMP Manager.Last we introduce how to develop a network management project on the base of SNMP network management system.To this solution ,the size of SNMP Agent part is very simplified, also has the features of little coupling with the lower protocol flat , good scalability , and convenient configuration interface. The SNMP Management is developed on the basis of wsnmp32.dll supplied by MicroSoft,and is adapted to using some windows development tools.So,our solution is universal for managing network devices in some certain extent.
