background"Acute cholecystitis" is the Western disease name, according to its clinical description of symptoms can be attributed to the Chinese medicine "hypochondriac"、"gall swelling" and other diseases. The acute phase of this disease can be attributed to the "nodes in the chest yellow"、jaundice"、"yellow addiction"and so on. Since the fast-paced life, unhealthy diet and other reasons, leading to acute cholecystitis in the field of surgery has become a common disorder, even it has developed into the second largest acute abdomen. When the gallbladder inflammation, mainly as right upper quadrant pain, often accompanied by nausea, vomiting, chills, fever and other symptoms, and because the cause of the inflammation, immunity will be some interference, which could affect people’s normal lifeobjectiveThe study was designed to investigate the effects of electro-acupuncture (EA) at "Yanglingquan"(GB 34) and "Yinlingquan"(SP9) on TNF-α、temperature and gall-bladder wall thickness in rabbits model with acute cholecystitis, and evaluate the correlation between gallbladder and the acupoint"Yanglingquan"(GB 34).methodsThirty two male rabbits were randomly divided into four groups:normal control group, model group, EA at "Yanglingquan" group (GB34, EA-GB34) and EA at "Yinlingquan" group (SP9, EA-SP9),8 rats in each group. Rabbits model with acute cholecystitis was induced by the gall bladder injection of escherichia coli liquid. After surgery, EA at relative acupoints was respectively performed once per day for 7 days. The anal temperature was measured before operation and postoperatively. At day 7 postoperatively, TNF-a was measured and pathological changes of the gallbladder tissue was detected by b-mode ultrasongograph.results1、Rabbits in each group compared to the situation in general:Normal group rabbits were in good spirits, moving freedom, had shiny coat and erect ears. No abnormal condition occured in the rabbits of the normal group, they all had normal eating and drinking. After modeling, other three groups of rabbits, the back of them were straight. They almost react slowly, eat and water less. Their ears often had inverted shape. Besides, their hair are messy、loose and dull.Many rabbits had diarrhea and their perianal are unclean. Their urine is turbid. Almost rabbits had indifferent reaction to external sound and light. The situations of above of the model group rabbits are more serious with the time pass. All rabbits survived for wound healing well after the surge.2、The comparing result of the TNF-acontent of each group of rabbits gallbladder tissue:EA for 7d after surgery, the TNG-aconcentration of Yanglingquan rabbits gallbladder tissue were significantly lower than the model group (p<0.05). The TNG-aconcentration of Yinlingquan rabbits gallbladder tissue were no significantly difference than the model group (p>0.05)3、The comparing result of the rectal temperature of each group of rabbits gallbladder tissue: Before modeling, rectal temperature were no significantly difference in each group (P> 0.05); After modeling, compared with normal group, rectal temperature were significantly increased in Yanglingquan group、Yinlingquan group and model group (P< 0.05). But rectal temperature were no significantly difference in Yanglingquan group、Yinlingquan group and model group (P>0.05), which can be used to compare. After EA, compared with model group, rectal temperature were decreased in Yanglingquan group and Yinlingquan group, but only Yanglingquan group had statistical significance (p<0.05) and Yinlingquan group had no statistical significance (p>0.05)4、The comparing result of the gallbladder wall thickness of each group of rabbits gallbladder tissue:Normal group:The gallbladder wall morphology had large individual differences. Most had a pear-shaped after slitting. The gallbladder wall were thin and smooth, the outline were neat,. Cysts were no echo within the dark areas and posterior acoustic enhanced.Model group:part gallbladders festered. Some gallbladder walls increased severely or blur. Some gallbladders had "bilateral sign", their inside and outside of the wall showed hyperechoic, but intermediate had discontinuous or intermittent weak echo. Sound was difficult to penetrate bile in the gallbladders, appearing sparse or coarse punctate echo or irregular flocculent echo, which were composed by inflammatory floating object, necrotic tissue and scattered bile. The echo did not have deposits formed with gravity. Besides some gallbladders had polyps, which was on the wall had single or multiple circular or semicircular weak or strong echo clumps. Echogenic position did not change with the postural changed.Yanglingquan group:Most gallbladder shape slightly increased, gallbladder wall slightly thickening, the gallbladder cavity were full. Sometimes can see small spot inflammatory fade, no specific sonographic changes.Yinlingquan group:Most gallbladders had irregular shape changed, gallbladder walls had thickening or blur, gallbladders cavities were full, inner portion of cysts scattered sparsely punctate echo or irregular flocculent echo, not with the formation of a deposited gravity belt.conclusion1^ Compared with model group, the rabbits of Yanglingquan group’s tumor necrosis factor-a (TNF-a) and rectal temperature were significantly decreased after EA, having statistical significance (p>0.05). The rabbits of Yanglingquan group’s tumor necrosis factor-α (TNF-a) and rectal temperature had decreased without statistical significance (p>0.05) This shows that acupuncture Yanglingquan has significant inhibition to the rabbits with acute cholecystitis, but EA Yinlingquan there was no significant effect.2n Compared with model group, the rabbit gallbladder wall of both Yanglingquan group and yinlingquan’s inflammation were improved. And the gallbladder wall inflammation conditions of Yanglingquan group were improved better than yinlingquan group. This shows that acupuncture Yanglingquan and acupuncture Yinlingquan point both have some control to the rabbits with acute cholecystitis, and Yanglingquan point is better than Yinlingquan point.
