An Analysis Of Supporting Language In American Commercial Cartoon

After over one centuries’ great boom, American business cartoon hasoccupied an incomparably important position in today’s world history ofanimation and has been leading the development direction and trend of theworld animation. American animation industry has formed mature productionmode and industry chain, especially in the design of animation charactersestablished with individual style, conceptualized modeling and diagrammatictype of visual art image and has strengthened roles’ entertainment andperforming effect of the movement and the expression which make theappearance of a large amounts of animation stars in American businesscartoon. Among them, we are deeply impressed by the countless supportingstars whose images have been rooted in our minds. They enrich the content ofthe business animation film, strengthen the comic effect, activate theatmosphere, draw large audience and promote the development of the plot,even play a decisive role in the end of the story. This paper aims at analyzingthe supporting role’s modeling language in American animation film, andstudies its inspiration and reference for the creation of the supporting roles inChina’s animation films.
