The Flute Of The Flute - Long Pale Collides With The Music Of Galway

This thesis is to study two most representative flute instrumentalists in theforeign flute world---Rampal and Galway, as well as analyze and evaluate their“music” development and styles in details, which touches upon many professionalissues including the influence of French flute school over these two masters, differentuses of techniques, processing of the same piece of music work and their internationalinfluence and influence over China’s flute teaching. The author hopes this thesis willmake breakthroughs in relevant theoretical field and remove the limitedness ofprevious studies, striving to make both headways in performance and theories to reachan ideal effect in art comparison.
