Investigation On The Current Situation Of Buyi Language In Chengguan Town Of Puding County

Puding whose county town becomes its economic and cultural center is locatedin the central region of Guizhou Province. This article mainly studies the currentsituation of buyi languzge’s application within this town’s administrative jurisdictionand on this basis to explore the protection of buyi languages.All the experts and scholars has preferred to putting the research emphasis onthe structure of language ontology itself and regarding as the study of buyi language.It mainly focuses on the general features of buyi language. In recent years, manyscholars begin to pay attention to the topic of buyi language’s usage closely. Butuntil now, the achievements are mainly about buyi language first dialect area (buyilanguage’s standard point of articulation) and buyi second dialect area (near for theadministrative center of Guiyang city in Guizhou), few people pay attention to thethird buyi language dialect area, especially there has never been anyone who studybuyi’s current situation of application before. buyi language in this town belongs tothe third dialect area. Even though it is not the third dialect area representativearticulation point, but it has some of its own uniqueness. In this article, it is on thebasis of the fieldwork through the questionnaire surveys, interviews, observation andother field research methods, and with the research methods of sampling test, theauthor has conducted a comprehensive study on the buyi language ‘s currentsituation of application in this area, Which can make up for the insufficient study ofbuyi language’s using situation on the scope, and can be used as a buyi languagestudy case material, can also be provided as an important reference value for thestudy of the ethnic minority languages. What is more, it can provide importantreference value for the study and protection of the ethnic minority languages.This article is divided into nine parts. The first part (introduction): introducingthe reason to choose this topic (purpose, meaning), related research overview, datasources and research methods in this paper. The second part (chapter one):introducing the buyi minority and the situation of buyi this town, this part mainly discusses the social and cultural situation and the pronunciation status in thisarea.The third part (chapter2): introducing the basic information of the site andinvestigation object, from different ages, different sexes, different cultural levels toanalyze the buyi there native language ability. The fourth part (chapter3): bypeople’s different language emotional identification, social intercourse andidentification of the language communication function, language people’s attitude oflanguage shift to their family members to analyze the language attitude. The fifthpart (chapter4): Analyze the appliance of this area buyi language from these threeaspects: the family, village, village interstate. The sixth part (chapter5): Throughgender hierarchy, age level, single and double language level to analyze the buyipeople’s language acquisition of the relevant situation. The seventh part (chapter6):the author has concluded the using status of the characteristics of this area’s buyilanguage which is on the basis of comprehensive analysis. The eighth part (chapter7): Some thinking about protecting buyi language, abridging the general situation ofthe study of endangered languages protection, discussing the significance ofprotecting buyi language and protecting its measures are discussed.
