Research On Folk Drama In Qingshui River Valley

Qingshui River is the second largest river in Guizhou, Qingshui river basins isthe earlier development region of Guizhou. Han culture comes to the basin togetherwith the economic development and prosperity and profound impact on people’s lives.Folk drama is a typical example. it reflects the influence between Han culture andthe life of the national culture in Qingshui river basins. The folk drama is an importantpart of the Qingshui river basins’ culture, it’s same as the Oral Histories, the AncientSongs, the Historical Inscriptions, the Contracts of Qingshui River and the OfficialHistories, Scholars think that it is a case in point which can research and explore thenational culture.The folk drama adapted to the primitive religious beliefs and customs of theinhabitants’ in Qingshui river basins, so, it’s more related to the ritual activities of life,and it has unique national culture characteristics. With the widespread of modernmedia, the folk drama is on the endangered edge. In this article, the object of study isprimitive and ancient folk drama which spread in Qingshui river basins, by investigatethe kind of the folk drama and its activities, we can analyze the folk dramas’ nationaland local characteristics. Meanwhile, there are some references for the inheritance andprotection can be provided.This article is divided into five parts, The first part states the research reason, theresearch status and the research significance; The second part investigates the folkdrama types; The third part explains the culture characteristics of the folk drama, Thefourth part inspects the folk drama activities, The last part accounts for the folkdramas’ protection and inheritance are emergency work.
