Bach,The great musician of the Baroque Era. He is known as "polyphonic poet","the father of modern music", its polyphony has a very important position in thehistory of the piano art. Basic course in which "two part inventions" as the pianolearners into polyphony practiced, has always been the main content in pianoteaching.This paper mainly aims at the "two part inventions" genre, teaching andperforming to explore and research. The full text is divided into five chapters: Thefirst chapter, analysis of Bach "two part inventions" the creation of the historicalbackground, and then pointed out the important function of music characteristics ofthe late Baroque era and "two part inventions" in the history of the piano art;Thesecond chapter,"elements of two part inventions" and type classification; The thirdchapter, divided into song of "two part inventions" elements, tonality, melodystructure, are genre characteristics of "two part inventions" from the theoreticalanalysis, lay the theoretical foundation for the following teaching and playing; Thefourth chapter, is the core of this paper,to study and analyse the "two part inventions"of the basic principle and method of playing music, and puts forward somesuggestions on the teaching problems;The fifth chapter is the conclusion, integratedthe former four chapters, and points out the playing and teaching, teachers andstudents should make full preparations before class, pay attention to practice, toconsolidate and review.
