The teaching Chinese as a foreign language gained in the rich experience in many year explorations and the practice. At present, teaching Chinese as a foreign language gradually get rid of the traditional method, instead of devising some kinds of teaching activities, and encourage students to participate in interactive sessions. Thus, not only can help students get rid of the fear and learn Chinese in a relaxed and happy environment, but also can cultivate students’ interest in learning Chinese. This article is for the purpose to introduce the game teaching theory and teaching principle, and to classify32games which are carefully designed in accordance with the demand factors of language teaching, articulate the rules and goals of these games and make analysis and evaluation of results. This paper analysis the superiority and the inefficiency of the game teaching methods, and propose the ideas of game teaching methods in teaching Chinese as a foreign language. We hope these ideas can improve the quality of teaching Chinese as a foreign language.
