Learning Chinese is on the rise in the world in recent years, more and more foreign students come to China to study Chinese. And as one of the four great ancient civilizations, Chinese culture has a long history after native people for thousands of years of inheritance, development and evolution. It also makes the international students has a great deal of difficulty in adapt to Chinese culture. Because of the country’s opening to the outside world and limited time, the Chinese culture is not widely known in the international. This needs us to find out and solve the problems arising from the students intercultural adaptation. Only to find out students’cross-cultural fundamental questions,can we help them to get through the stage of cross-cultural adaptation. So, the study of intercultural adaptation for students studding abroad is the need of reality.By a form of questionnaire and individual interview, the thesis deals with the exploration aim at the foreign students (Japan, South Korea and Russia)’adaptation in china. Research from the international students to adapt to the situation of life, social cultural adaptation, and learning to adapt to the conditions of life, from the natural environment and social life, the language barrier interpersonal learning psychology and so on various aspects to understand foreign students to adapt to the situation, attempting to analyze the individual factors affecting foreign students cross-cultural adaptation and social cultural factors. Then stand on the angle of the foreign students’adaptation of cross-culture, put forward some countermeasures in teaching Chinese as a foreign language.
