Naoko-Awa is a famous Japanese writer of children’s literature. She createdexquisite short fairy tales, which have a poignant, tender and subtle melancholytemperament. Naoko-Awa’s fairy tales main artistic features reflected in the excellentgrasp of fantasy and reality, a variety of emotions mingled in feelings of tone,language and facial sensory perception description. However, the research onNaoko-Awa in China focused on the fantasy character of her fairy tales.Fairy tale is rooted in the reality.In the very short length fairy tales, we can seethe light of the art, as well as the blues and the artistic process through thevicissitudes of life. Analysis Naoko’s works was able to see this pursuit. In this thesis,based on the fairy tale text, I analysis these images to explore the reality through thecharacters, animals, fairies and other protagonists images. Readers can read realitycontent from these fantasies, access to spiritual consolation, find their true self.In the process of writing this thesis, I found Naoko-Awa’s fairy talescharacters are similar to the author’s life, these characters are living prototype ofthe projection, which has a unique life experience of the author’s childhood. So Itried to find the relationship between the text and the writer in this thesis.
