Historical Investigation And Realistic Enlightenment Of The Early Dissemination Of Marxism In Chinese Universities

The spread of Marxism in China is an important premise of the Sinicization of Marxism. Furthermore, it is modern Chinese University that works as an advanced position in the early spread of Marxism, in which young students are guided to accept Marxism and the masses are led to understand、grasp and even apply Marxism. Therefore, the early modern Chinese University plays an important role in the early spread of Marxism.Early modern Chinese University can become the forefront of spread of early Marxism for three main reasons:new education system, freedom and democracy study style and school spirit of learning from the west. The main reason why Marxism can be accepted in early modern Chinese University is that the new student groups appear and groups of collective identity are constructed. At the same time, the change in the mind-set during the May Fourth Movement also promotes the rise of the Marxism spread.The spread of Marxism can be divided into three period, after Marxism enters the early modern Chinese university. At the initial stage, the advanced intellectuals explores the way to save the country and people、the progressive press use Marxism as political orientation and the original Marxism is chosen in the ideological debates. In the next extension stage (1923-1927), Marxism is systematically spread in the early modern Chinese university and some theories about workers and peasants are well known. After1927, the spread of Marxism is in a slump in early modem Chinese university, which shows some new features.In Modern China, the spread of Marxism in China focus on different contents in different periods. In this thesis, the writer will take the spread of Marxism in early modern Chinese University as an example. In the early stage, different kinds of socialisms factions are examined and basic principles of scientific socialism are analyzed. Apart form those, student movement information is published and student movement strategies are summarized. In the next stage, most of the theories,which are introduced into modern Chinese university, are about class struggle, the oppressed nations combined together to establish world revolutions and establish revolutionary united front. After the failure of the Great Revolution, the theories about Party organization and the establishment of Soviet regime are selectively communicated into the early modern Chinese university.In the process of the communication Marxism, the main features are the integrity of communication subject, the selection of communication contents、the diversity of communication media、the difference of communication channels and the plasticity of communication environment. Learning form the spread of Marxism in early modern Chinese university is that relying on the "reality", we should build the discourse power of Marxism、integrate mass medias、broaden more communication ranges and people、strengthen the selective and well-directed strategy of Marxism communication, especially taking the daily life into consideration. In conclusion, in the face of Marxism communication in colleges and universities in new period, we should pay attention to leading role of educators and subjective role of the educated, the contents and forms of Marxism communication、communication media and communication ways, dominant education and recessive education in daily life to enhance Marxism communication.
