In this paper, the Single category Implicit Association Test (SC-IAT) and Affect Misattribution Procedure (AMP) were used to explore the structure and the main content of the Attachment to Home Complex, the questionnaire method was used to investigate the degree of attachment to home. The whole paper included three parts. In study1, a3(categories:family vs. house vs. hometown)×2(gender:male vs. female) two factors mix design was conducted to test the attitude toward home. The results indicated that:(1) Chinese graduate students had a generally positive implicit attitude on "family","house" and "hometown", so they had positive implicit attachment to home complex.(2) Chinese graduate students had a most significant positive implicit attitude on the "family","family" was the most representative connotation of "home" in Chinese people’s minds;(3) The gender factor was insignificant which indicated that all the participants expressed positive attitude to home.In study2, a indirect and a direct AMP evaluations were used to make further advances on the basis of study1. The aim of study2was to explore the evaluation toward "family" when compared with other abject. In the indirect AMP, we used a single factor within-subjects design. The results indicated that:(1) Chinese graduate students made positive evaluations of the family primes than the non-family primes on the indirect test;(2) there was no significant difference between the indirect and direct AMP evaluations of the family targets, but there existed a significant difference between the indirect and direct AMP evaluations of the non-family targets;(3) the result didn’t show a remarkable difference between non-family primes and neutral primes, but the neutral primes was seen having a better implicit judgment than that after non-family primes.Study3adopted a self-made questionnaire to measure the degree of attachment to home among modern graduate students in the explicit level. The results showed that(1) modern graduates showed a high degree of attachment to home;(2) the female graduate students had a significant higher degree of attachment to home than male graduate students, and the only child had a more higher degree of attachment to home than non-only child. The results demonstrated that:(1) On both implicit and explicit level, graduate students generally have a higher degree of love at home.(2)"family","house", "hometown" were the three main elements of the implicit attachment to home complex.(3)"family" was the most representative connotation of "home" in modern graduate students’ minds. The research discussed the main components of home in the concept of Attachment to Home Complex, and revealed that "family" was the most important connotation of "home" in the mind of modern graduate students. People showed positive attitude toward family in both implicit and explicit level. All the results showed that people has given more emphasis on their close "family".
