The introduction of Chinese traditional music reside in the range time and the complicated changes of Chinese musical genre. There is, by now, no writings of unique research about the introduction from the angle of music has published. YueWen(Question Music, written by Chinese musicologist Huang Xiangpeng) is a book to probe into one hundred suspense of the ancient Chinese music. The paper based on the80th question which is about the Introduction,(including three small questions:1,What is the source of a point of view that the introduction supplement beats become the piece?2, Whether the introduction must be the sanban(simillar to Senza misura)?3, What is the function of the introduction in the history of Chinese traditional music?) Through the analysis of the logical relationship of these three questions, the auther decide to use jiugongdacheng(Comprehensive Anthology of Texts and Notation of Southern and Northern Opera tunes in Nine Modes) as the material of study, and try to answer the80th question by distinguishing the relationship of yin(a kind of Chinese ancient music genre) and yinzi(the introduction) and inspecting the condition of the introduction in nanbeiqu(southern and northern drama music).This dissertation includes three parts:preface, chapters and epilogue. Introduction aims to put forward the questions; the first and second chapter aims to show and elucidates the questions, and to prepar the views of solving the questions; chapter three and the conclusion aims to answer the questions.The introduction, including the determination of the selected topic origin; the decision of the range of topics; and the feasibility analysis for the thesis. Based on this, the author put forward the method and research status of the topics. The first chapter, Through the analysis of the number, source, gongdiao(pitches and modes of ancient Chinese music),luoyin (the end sound), sentence patterns, xwanfa(evolution of melody), etc. of Qupai of yin in jiugongdacheng to summarize the characteristics of the introduction in nanbeiqu. And through the special situation of that to lead the relationship of literature, music and qiang (vocal), and the relationship between nanbeiqu and ci poetry. By the clues from yuewen, the another suggest to analyze the historical materials in the second chapter to confirm the different meaning of genre of yin in Han and Wei periods and its flexibility in the field of poetry, music and dance. Founding the reason of that yin has word or not depends on its multiple meaning of genre; and the change in qu(tune) and lv (temperament) of konghouyin and gongyin happened in several times help the another to know the influence of yin to yinzi on later generations is the enlightenment of concept meaning. Basis on the questions and martial from the chapter â…  and the cogitation of history in chapter â…¡, The third chapter tried to answer the80th question in yuewen. First of all,"the introduction supplement beats become the piece" save in benxu of nanqu, as the same time zhugongdiao is the source of a point of view in beiqu. Secoundly, the introduction is not always the sanban because "yin supplement the beats become qu" represent the meaning of sound of measure in traditional Chinese music, different focus on the function of the introduction can inference and control the different attitude and conclusion of the measure meaning of the introduction. Epilogue part return to yuewen again, conclusion the answer of three questions, and points out that the one hundred questions has internal logic between each other, and focusing on the present problems in the view of the history is the main thoughts and ideas of the author to put forward the introduction question, even another questions in the whole book.
