The Literary Field Of "Shanghai Literary Theory" And The Trend Of Contemporary Literature

Shanghai literary theory, which is set up in1987, was officially rename as Shanghai Culture in1993. Shanghai literary theory acts as a purely literature-criticism periodical, not as other literature periodical. Through the only way of criticizing, it established several column for criticism, publishing diversified literary theory and ideas.As a splendid literary periodical which is beginning in Shanghai with affluent source of literary, Shanghai literary theory holding the very important status in China’s literary world, which always be criticized by its column "rewrite the history of literary", regardless of other column by the later generation. This thesis will mainly focus on the Shanghai literary theory between1987-1992, analyzing the way it building the field of literary production in China and the relationship to the contemporary literary at80s to90s in China by looting literary symbols, summarizing the whole Shanghai literary theory by Pierre Bourdieu’s point of Field who’s a French sociologist. This thesis will be divided into three parts. Part1:will use the idea of Bourdieu’s field of literary production to bring up Shanghai literary theory’s structure of Field and common state by opening with the whole field of literary production in China. Part2:will try to begin with looting literature symbol of periodical to further analyzing the unique feather of Shanghai literary’s field of literary production, which is divided into chapter1&2. Part3ruse the Field theory to analyze the practical value of the study of Shanghai literary’s field of literary production to the contemporary literary periodical.
