In the international teaching industry, communicative competence of students are been paid more and more attention to. In such background, this paper design a teaching related extra-curricular activities to intermediate stage in order to enrich students polysemy teaching. In structure of the article, this paper firstly expounds the basic theories, which include the support of task based on language teaching in extracurricular activities, extracurricular activities on the role of teaching Chinese as a foreign language and difficulties in polysemous words in the major. Secondly, this paper expounds the activity design "Chinese polysemous Usage Survey", including the establishment of the objectives, tasks arrangement, activity summary, etc. Finally, this paper expounds the reflection and application of the activities, puts forward some ways to solve certain activities that be mentioned. It contains the application scope of activities, which can be serviced for the teaching content.Through this paper, we hope to solve polysemy teaching problems in activities effectively of the intermediate level students. It will also enrich teaching methods in teaching Chinese as a foreign language, stimulate students’ learning motivation and gain better teaching effect and learning effect. We hope this design can make better use of the target language environment, truely realize through the extracurricular ways to make up for the lack of classroom learning, really improve teaching efficiency and teaching quality of Chinese as a foreign language.
