As an extension of the communicative approach, Task-based approach has attracted wide attention by many applied linguists and foreign language teaching practitioners. The basic principles of task-based teaching research are not the same, but from the study of individual scholars, we can find the real context is strongly affirmed. At the same time, many scholars believe that language learning is not only focus on meanings and functions, but also emphasize linguistic forms. Tasks for students should be able to complete, because in this process, students learn the language by doing something and solve the problem, which is called "learning by doing". Combined with the actual teaching, we analysis of teaching materials from the following five aspects, from the choice of topic and output material, we can tell authenticity principle; from the text form and practice type we can tell interaction principle, from the task scheduling model we can tell continuity principle; from the activity type and action verbs we can tell learning by doing principle; from task activity type we can tell Form-Function-Meaning principle. In this way can we study the characteristics and the lack of materials, as well as put forward the corresponding suggestion. At last I hope it can be able to give the teachers and students who are using this teaching material a little inspiration.
