“Since its birth, the world of photography has gone through a variety ofapproaches in the advancement of image classification. The change of photographersunderstanding, environment as well as the development of photographic technologyare all influencing the way that images are classified. Under a step-by-stepdeconstructive approach, we will find all kinds of very specific evaluative images,from which we can really see how in the world of photography, ethical evaluativeimages plays a pivotal role in the whole of human society: it does not just move ourhearts, but what is more, it is responsible for the advancement of the whole ofhuman society.In addition to this, the ethical conduct of photographers in their professionalcareer has always been a focus of attention. In recent years, we always seephotographic works from both large and small scale competitions causingcontroversy, and cannot help but focus on whether it is the duty of a photographer toregards oneself first as a human being or as a professional photographer there to doa job. The topic of discussion hence unfolds, and whilst addressing this issue, we asthe reader play a role that we cannot ignore-to give feedback and personal opinions,be it in support or against, be it subtle or strong, regardless, whatever we say willdeeply influence the person behind the picture. The death of Kevin Karter, forinstance, has triggered us to think about what exactly led to his death-could it reallybe because of the stunning images that he took? Or an inner struggle in his mind? Orwas it that public opinion was too extreme?In this paper, the author, through addressing evaluative images, thephotographers ethics and morals, the upbringing of the audience and various otherfactors, made a comprehensive and systematic research and analysis, and fromexploring how to deal with the ethical questions that appear in the photography,gained a fresh insight in to the ethical problems in photography.”...
