Regulatory Emotional Self-Efficacy (RES) is a new direction of the emotion regulation domain. Females are significantly higher than males in POS.②class leaders are significantly higher than others in RES, POS, ANG, and DES.③liberal art students are significantly higher than science students in POS, but significantly lower in RES, ANG and DES.④Students from grade one are significantly higher than students from grade two in POS. In RES, ANG and DES students from grade one are significantly higher than grade three.(2)The depression, self-esteem and Regulatory Emotional Self-Efficacy were significantly related to each other.(3)The self-esteem and Regulatory Emotional Self-Efficacy had significantly negatively predictive effect on the depression respectively.(4)The Regulatory Emotional Self-Efficacy played an intermediary role between the self-esteem and the depression.
