On The Narrative Transformation Of Yu Hua 's Novels

As one of the most famous writer in vanguard literature school, YuHua has received extensive attention from the critical world since he entered the literary world in last of1980. And then this passion doesn’t weaken according to the lapse of time or the lower influence of pioneer, On the contrary,the whole change of YuHua’s novels let his creation get more attention,also provided a new topic to the critical world in the1990s.The critics made a discussion about the transition phenomenon from different angles, someone discussed the thematic transformation of YuHua’s novels, someone discussed the father image’s transformation of YuHua’s novels, someone evaluated his transformation, and so on. This article, from the perspective of the narrative theory, combined with the specific works, explored the changes of the composition of YuHua’s novels and the reasons of his transformation in depth.This thesis altogether divided into three parts, they were introduction, main text and epilogue. At first it gave an outline of YuHua’s transformation in the introduction part, after that, it summarized the existing research results of YuHua’s novels, this research have focused mainly on the writer’s creative ideas, the theme of the novels, the pioneer spirit of the novels, the writer’s creative transformation and the comparative study, however, in addition to this, YuHua’s novels are still worthy of further study. The body part divided into two chapters, the first chapter, firstly analyzed the changes in the content of YuHua’s novels, then from the perspective of the narrative theory, combined with the specific works, explored the changes of the composition of YuHua’s novels, to be specific, these changes were mainly reflected in the narrative perspective, narrative attitude, narrative language,and so on. The second chapter firstly explored the reasons why does YuHua always enamored with the description of the violent scene, in my opinion, these reasons included his special growing experience, five years of medical career, distinctive reading experience and the social environment of the1980s. After that, it analyzed the reasons and the significance of his transformation, his transformation was not accidental, it resulted from a combination of internal and external causes, the development of the whole social environment was the external cause, while the changes in his personal life experience and thoughts was the internal cause, besides, music also played a significant role. The conclusion part of the thesis reviewed the whole article and praised YuHua’s transformation again, in this part,I also reflected the gains and losses, ups and downs in my writing process.
