A Textual Research On The Preface And Postscript Of The Romance Of The Three Kingdoms

"Three Kingdoms" is the first charpter-novel. Prefaces and postscripts which are based on introducing the content and criticizing the novels are appeared in the same time of it publized. It also reflects the regulation of the publizing and researching of popular novels. There are many scholars are dictated to the version of "Three Kingdoms",and already make a lot of contribution about it., However, the attentions paid on prefaces and postcripts of popular novels are not enough, the systemetic and scientific research are shortage as well. For this reason, this article is focus on the collection and proofread about prefaces and postscripts of "Three Kingdoms", provide the documents foundation of analyse. Moreover, this article also research the authors of these prefaces and postscripts, classify them according to their contents, try to find the line of research about "Three Kingdoms" in Ming and Qing dynasty.This article are devided into four chapters except the introduction.In charpter one, we try to make a definition about prefaces and postscripts, and use this definition into classical popular novels, and make an explication about the basic characteristics about prefaces and postscripts of classical popular novels. Then, this article are about to illustrate these prefaces and postscripts in "Three Kingdoms" in Ming and Qing dynasty and determine the scope of this article.In charpter two, we are about to research the authors of prefaces and postscripts of "Three Kingdoms", which is based on the sequence of time. The main information about these authors are coming from historical records and local histories. We can have better understanding about these prefaces and postscripts in novel. In charpter three, prefaces and postscripts in novels could become advertises which is publicized by folk bookstores, and also become a tool to express the emotion of the writers. We could find theoretical value through the criticism.In charpter four, we are about to analyzing the history of the research in these prefaces and postscripts in "Three Kingdom", and also summarize the author’s opinions about history and literary. We try to show the unique position about "Three Kingdoms".The second part is construe about prefaces and postscripts of "Three Kingdoms" in Ming and Qing dynasty in the view of ancient philology.
