Chapter Ⅰ, Introduction. Yi Tongshi is one book that Qianjia scholar Jiao Xun annotates the traditional classic Book of Changes, in which Jiao Xun applies the theory "Jia Jie" of "Liushu" to make textual criticism of Book of Changes. This chapter briefly discusses the current status of the academic study of Jiao Xun’s language theory and achievements (mainly Jia Jie):The researches regarding to "Jia Jie" of Jiao Xun’s Yixue, Classics and Philology are very limited and they are not the specialized research. The second section of this chapter describes the meaning and methods of this paper.Chapter Ⅱ, Overview of Yi Tongshi. In This Chapter the author Jiao Xun is first introduced, including his life story and academic achievement. Secondly, introduce the writting process and version issues. Finally is the content and style of presentation.Chapter Ⅲ, The theory and practice of "Jia Jie". This chapter is divided into two parts:the theoretical part, review the theory of predecessors, then discusses Jiao Xun’s theory; the practical part, analysis all of the "Jia Jie" characters one by one involved in Yi Tongshi according to the volume order.Chapter IV, The achievements and shortcomings of "Jia Jie". The major achievements summarized in three points:first, Jiao Xun dare to propose new ideas; Second, the "Jia Jie" practice in Yi Tongshi is on behalf of "Yin Sheng Qiu Yi"; Third, widely absorb and adopt the view of predecessors and contemporaries, cite a large numbers of informative literature. Inadequate are summarized as two points:First, the definition of "Jia Jie" is not clear, the category of it are expanded intentionally or unintentionally in practice; Second, for the purpose of support and improve the system of Jiao Xun’s Yixue, many cases of the "Jia Jie" characters are lacking in literature evidence and far-fetched.
