Complement Structure is always very important and also difficult in Chinese Grammar structure and Chinese teaching for both teachers and students. The system of Chinese Complement is even more complicated. What to teach and how to teach it are the focus problems of Complement Structure in Chinese teaching. In this paper, we will study Adjective Complement Structure from aspects of acquisition and noumenon. We will divide Adjective Complement Structure into several substructures and study based on them, including the possible acquisition sequence between them.First, we divide the Adjective Complement structure into four substructures and seven further substructures according to both meaning and form, which cover almost all the Complement structures in traditional divisive system. Then, we analyze those seven substructures based on corpora, both native speaker corpora and inter-language corpora, focusing on both errors and output, which show the differences of acquisition quality and possible sequence between. Finally, we come up with our suggestions in teaching Chinese Complement. The possible acquisition turns out to be: A>C1>C3>C2>B1>D(negative form>positive form)>B2, if in traditional division, Result Complement>Degree Complement>Descriptive Complement>Potential Complement. This paper is a corpora-based research, whose conclusions on Chinese Adjective Complement and detailed analysis on the errors from learner output, as well as the try of adjective-based complement teaching, is with considerable value for both Chinese Complement study and teaching theoretically and practically.
