From the middle period of Ming dynasty to the end of Qing dynasty,townshipand the organization of tithing, the main tool of the local government and villagegentry, was the core member of the local administrative system and controlled thesociety.They were responsible for organizing and implementing all theactivities,such as the defense of Village, relief work, education and public affairs,and even the official and folk sacrificial activities.Gentry,positioning on top of thefour kinds of people, developed much stronger ties with township and theorganization of tithing. They even acted as Yuezheng and Baozheng to achieve theirpolitical participation right place.As a representative of the informal power, Gentryformed the local power structure with the local officials. As a result of the this timeaxis and the constitution of a series of events,the main narrative style of this thesis isnarrative. Researching "event" by "long time", the main characteristic is "move".Anypolitical events is a complex of the social system, the political environment and thesocial relations at that time. In other words, inspecting the cause,the processes andthe result, Can reveal the political dynamic of that time. This thesis aims to inspectthe change of the village power structure and the vicissitudes of the group of gentryby investigating the relationship between gentry and other political forces.
