Wang Guowei 's Literary Aesthetics System

Wang Gouwei is recognized as the Great Masters. He also is the scholar who is the first to introduce Western theory to comment on traditional Chinese literature. He opened the modem transformation of traditional theory, occupies a very important position in the history of literary criticism. His literary theory such as "Tragedy Theory","Genius Theory","Game Theory","Realm Theory","Quaint Theory" and "Non-utilitarian Literary Theory", is the past century literary theory research focus. However, there are some areas propositions had not come to an agreement. Many problems still need to be further explored.Past scholars studied Wang Gouwei literary theory always focus on the explanation of individual propositions and scope, failed to recognize the systemic of of Wang Guowei literary theory. I think that the literary theory of Wang Guowei is a complete system. Although various theoretical propositions can study independently, they are intrinsically linked. It is difficult to fully and accurately recognize the literary theory of Wang Guowei if we do not figure out the entire system on the proposition and scope of individual literary theory. In this thesis, I am going to bulid up a complete and systematic Wang Guowei literary theory. Tease out the ideas of Wang Guowei literary theory to establish and explain the intrinsic link between the various areas of theoretical propositions.This thesis is based on first-hand materials organize, summarize, and logical interpretation. To divided his literary theory into five sections according to the aesthetic ideas of Wang Guowei. The orders of the five sections are "Tragedy Theory","Genius Theory","Game Theory","Realm Theory" and "The Literary Development Theory", in order to restore the original appearance of of Wang Guowei text on the system.
